Both my cat and dog love this bed. Very soft and comfortable. Hope I’ll be able to wash if necessary.
UPDATE: I stand by my original post but with one change.... the actual inner sleeping mattress area (inside the donut pillow ring) is stuffed with "wads" of filler that is NOT EVEN. Therefore, the sleep area developed rolls of very uneven stuffing. I flipped the bed over cut a slit about 8ish inches in the under nylon fabric, and pulled all the sleep area filler out. There is a seam around that area which separates the fluffy outer pillow ring so the pillow remained undisturbed. I then cut a round 2" memory foam pad and slipped that inside. WOWZER!!!!!!! 10 STARS! The memory foam also eliminated the "well" that the old stuffing caused which left a gap between the donut pillow and the sleeping area. Now the sleeping area is full to the pillow donut. The nylon fabric under the bed is "rip stop" fabric so I don't think I'll even bother hand stitching the cut closed again but that's always something I can do later if needed. My boy LOVES his bed and even MORE now. ❤️🐾 Replacing the center mattress stuffing with memory foam was super easy so don't be shy if you want to do this. It's totally easy. :) Cut, remove stuffing, cut a round memory foam mattress to size, stuff it in. Tada!THIS LITTLE BED! It shipped quickly and in a very secure box. These pics show the bed 5 minutes after it ws removed from vacuum packing. It fluffed right up and ZERO SMELL. I was worried it would have a new chemical smell. None at all. There's plenty of "pillow" all the way around. I chose the bed that is 2 inches longer than my dog so when he's in the mood to stretch out, he can do so comfortably. Or, he can cozy into the pillow side. I tucked his fleece blanket into the edges to fill them and make everything flat because there's a well all the way around the center padding and that's perfectly fine. Some other brands have a center "pillow" that removes which they complain about. This Western Home bed is all one piece. It's SUPER soft and warm. He took to this bed instantly and now I may have to buy one for my cat! haha. My dog is so cozy, comfy, comforted by the "hug" that this bed gives and he like the pillow sides! He and I are thrilled with this bed and I might also buy a third one for his chair. 🥰 I would totally buy one as a gift as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My dog and cats all love this bed. One of my cats actually started nursing on it, which she hasn't done in years, so she for sure approves of this purchase lol. Get it! It's affordable and your fur baby will love it.
So soft & fluffy & remains that way! I've ordered 2 since my puppy keeps growing but she loves it! I've washed it with great results. It's pet friendly & a sturdy quality product considering my husky puppy plays roughly with it also & there's never been a rip or tear.
I have seen many dog beds promise comfort and deliver little more than an expensive cushion. This one is different. It is supportive and soft enough that my dog settled into it immediately and refused to move. Even after regular use, it has kept its shape and still looks excellent. A surprisingly refined bed and one I would gladly purchase again.
in comparison with other similar beds and brands, this one falls short. Over the years we've had many of these but I'm disappointed in this one based on the lack of fluffiness and fullness of the bed portion the dog lays on and the surrounding cuddler surround. It kind of falls flat and spreads out a lot. Quality & sturdiness just isn't there. Not very plush. I'll go back to the previous brand next time so my Shih Tzu can curl up in it and snuggle in like these are intended.
